My name is Kayden Ivey, and I’m a 16-year-old who started Scouts in the 3rd grade. I stuck with my scouting journey because I enjoyed the outdoor camping experience and the life skills that the scouts brought to me. Scouts have taught me how to be a leader in challenging situations, how to manage and work effectively in a team, and how to appreciate the natural surroundings when I’m camping and engaging in outdoor activities.
I also find joy in other things in my life, like playing Basketball, Engineering through problems, and helping with gardening in my family’s built backyard garden.
